Mode of Work: Hybrid, have to visit office for 2 weeks a month

Job Summary
This is an ideal role for candidates who aspire to make a career in Telecom Consulting. The person would be required to work out of company’s Telecom client’s office and provide research and analysis support to their strategy team.
Key Responsibilities and Performance Objectives
Build and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the client’s business, telecom value chain, Indian telecom sector and its performance metrics, Indian telecom operators, their service offerings and key performance metrics
Quickly come up to speed on the existing research process, client subscribed databases, other commonly used information sources and delivery templates
Decipher research briefs and implement an optimal research strategy to execute client requests leveraging public information sources and clients’ subscribed databases including GSMA Intelligence, Capital IQ, Analysys Mason, CMR etc.
Lead and independently execute research requests. Maintain a completion index of 95%-100% across all deliverables and be proficient in applying quantitative techniques and frameworks for market forecasting, DCF valuation, cash flow analysis, etc.
Lead and participate in client conversations to present key findings and address questions and objections with clarity, ease and confidence
Develop strong rapport with client stakeholders and become the go-to person for their workstreams
Manage multiple workstreams, review outputs of junior team members (as and when required) and deliver error free outputs under tight deadlines
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / MBA (specialisation in information technology/ telecom is preferable) / CFA with 4+ years of strategic research experience
Proficiency in creating in-depth company profiles, conducting financial due diligence (balance sheet analysis, income statement analysis, cash flow analysis, forecasting using valuation techniques), market analysis, evaluating technology trends and business case analysis
Excellent MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) skills. Working knowledge of Tableau will be an added advantage
Strong project management and multi-tasking skills. Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and switch between multiple projects during the course of the day; adaptable to working on both recurring and ad hoc assignments
High degree of quality orientation and work output ownership
Flexible with work timings, based on clients’ requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills with exposure to client interaction
