Responsibilities -

1. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing using payroll software and automation tools
2. Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, bonuses, and deductions
3.  Handle employee payroll queries related to salary, tax deductions, reimbursements, and payslips
4. Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) and monitor labor law updates
5.  Maintain payroll documentation and support internal/external audits
6. Generate payroll reports and provide insights to HR and Finance teams
7.  Coordinate with HRIS, Finance, and external vendors for seamless payroll operations

Requirements -

1. 5+ years of experience in Payroll / Statutory Benefits / Finance Support roles
2.  Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance
3. Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., Darwinbox)
4.  Good working knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
5. Understanding of labor laws and taxation updates
6. High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
7. Strong coordination and communication skills
8. Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, Commerce, or related field
