Category & Merchandising Manager (Staples) – Ecommerce/Retail - Mumbai – 8years+
An exciting opportunity for a professional having 8years+ experience in Handling End-to-End P&L of the Category, Retail, Merchandising, Operations, Category Management, Commodity Trading and Sourcing. If you are someone having experience working as a Head of Merchandizing/Category working with an Ecommerce/Internet based startup, this role would be a right fit for you!
Location: Mumbai
Your Future Employer: A leading B2B Ecommerce organization, currently venturing into Social Ecommerce ecosystem through their Social reselling platform.
Responsibilities:
1.Handling End-to-End P&L of the category.
2. Strategizing Category and taking care of Product catalog, pricing, margin delivery.
3.Managing Inventory turns across all Warehouses of operation.
4.Generating Customer insight, translating product strategy and innovation.
5.Building P&L in Staples with the Sourcing team.
6.Building a strong team of Category Managers in Staples and expertise in the company.
Requirements:
1.Graduation/Post Graduation from reputed institutes and having 8years+ of demonstrated experience in Handling Category and Merchandizing working in an Ecommerce/Internet based organization.
2.Proficient to collaborate across contributing functions in Buying, Supply Chain and Sales teams.
3.Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome.
4.Professional written and interpersonal skills.
5.Proven track record of delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.
