Compliance Officer (2-5 years)
Job opportunity for a working professional having at least 2 years of experience in Compliance, Legal & Risk to develop and implement the Compliance Framework for the firm’s business.
Location: Mumbai
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a part of Compliance, Legal & Risk team, developing and implementing the Compliance Framework for the firm’s business.
Working towards being the subject matter expert on everything related to SEBI AIF/PMS Regulations.
Assisting in ensuring Quarterly, Annually Compliance applicable to the company under SEBI Regulation, AML Regulation, Companies Act.
Interacting with Auditors and other external parties for various regulatory requirements/routine matters.
Coordinating with various department for various projects.
Liaising with Various Regulatory bodies for routine matters. Collaborate with the other Compliance & Risk team members to bring consistency in relevant controls across the Managed accounts, Advisory and Funds business.
Automating reporting and controls
Contributing to other firm wide compliance & risk projects.
INTERACTIONS
Works independently and with the team; Will interact with Compliance, Finance, Operations, IT, Digital and Investment teams as well as Auditors.
MINIMUM & PREFERRED EDUCATION
Company Secretary (Must have) and/ or Bachelor of Law
MINIMUM & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
2-5 years of experience in Compliance and/or Legal function of a Fund Management Co, where the candidate had exposure to SEBI PMS/AIF/MF Regulations, PIT Regulations, AML Regulations.
