Manager / Sr. Manager – Land Legal | Bijapur, Karnataka

The company develops and operates high-performing renewable energy assets across utility-scale and distributed RE projects, serving major commercial and industrial (C&I) clients through open-access and behind-the-meter solutions.

Your Future Employer

It is an independent power producer (IPP) that provides renewable energy to businesses via solar, wind and battery-storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage land documentation — including collecting and reviewing land records, drafting sale/lease deeds, ATS/ATL/POA, and handling legal due diligence.
2. Conduct title search reports (TSR) and ensure compliance with Karnataka State land laws.
3. Draft and review MoUs, agreements, NOCs, and conversion-related documents (11E sketch, 109 process, etc.).
4. Handle legal matters — land conversion, mutation, disputes, registration, and coordination with internal and external legal teams.
5. Lead field operations, liaising with Tahsildar, RDO, SDO, and other government offices to resolve land-related issues.

Key Requirements

1. Proficiency in Kannada and English (read, write, speak).
2. Sound knowledge of Land Revenue Act, Stamp & Registration Act, and Forest Conservation Act.
3. Strong time management, documentation, and negotiation abilities.
4. Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
