National Sales Head - Sales & Business Development - Edtech - 8years+

An exciting opportunity of a Head of Sales & Business Development with a leading Edtech firm involved in providing E-learning solutions to Consumers across the world, earlier having presence only in India but now having operations in International Market. For this leadership profile our client is looking for a tenured professional who comes from Core Sales background across FMCG, Consumer Durables, BFSI or retail as a industry. The candidate should have minimum 8years of experience in Sales and Business Development having minimum 3years+ of experience in Team Handling.

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the entire end-to-end pre sales process from lead generation to acquisition to retention. 
  • Developing strategies for new customer acquisition, gathering customer insights, and owning the responsibility of P&L.
  • Collaborating with marketing team to generate new leads sources, auditing and expanding the current customer base for the sales teams. 
  • Planning of cost and revenue management, improving performance, and also responsible for hiring and training new team members.
  • Using a data driven approach to increase sales, managing P&L, coaching and training team members.
  • Establishing the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objective and Providing full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.

Requirements:

  • Grad/Post Grad degree from premium institutes will be preferred having 8years+ of experience in Sales & Business Development in industries like FMCG, consumer durables, BFSI or retail.
  • One should have strong experience in understanding consumer business and have worked in high volume consumer sales. 
  • Should have the experience of working with cross functional teams with stake holder management.
  • One should be detail oriented with analytical and problem solving approach having experience in handling a large team size of 100+
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills..
