Project Manager/Scrum Master-Mumbai/Pune /10+ Years

Key part of this role focus will be on assisting in driving the overall product vision, strategy, roadmap, and requirements for our multiple products/projects. Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value. Organize and lead project status and working meetings, prepare and distribute progress reports, manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.

 Responsibilities:

  • The PM will be responsible for managing several concurrent high visibility projects using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business divisions
  • Enterprise-level responsibilities include Leading and managing large, medium enterprise-level projects. The projects may consist of multiple agile teams and require integration with other activities outside the scope of the agile teams
  • Team-level responsibilities include playing a consultative role to put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools, to improve team efficiency and effectiveness. Coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team
  • Hybrid Agile Role responsibilities include Using good judgment and skill to develop a project management approach that is suitable for planning and managing the effort. Achieve the project goals within designated project constraints
  • Serves as liaison between the Development team and the Product Owner(s). Work with Product Management Leaders daily to review all initiatives and issues and discuss how they impact the overall business
  • Ensuring successful delivery of meaningful, valuable products and features. Managing relationship & expectations throughout the business
  • Track outstanding product issues and status across the cross functional teams
  • Build knowledge on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.

Required Skills / Experience / Knowledge:

 

Education

Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or Business Management.

Experience

Experience of project management, agile principles, agile project management tools and SDLC process. Experience managing of application development using any of industry frameworks.

Must Have

  • Solid experience of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Balanced business/technical background. (1)Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership to development teams and ability to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues. (2) Ability to provide leadership to business analysts and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
  • Experience working on a highly agile (Scrum\Kanban\SAFe) team
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools:
  • Agile Project Management tools such as Jira, Active Collab, VersionOne or equivalent
  • Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
  • Ability to work with Scrum team(s) to refine user stories so they are Sprint Ready. Ability to plan sprints and ability to take over and run daily sprint stand-ups when required.
  • Good understanding of BDD (Behaviour-driven design/development) or/and TDD (Test-Driven development) format would be an advantage.
  • Ability to understand multiple business stakeholders’ vision & then work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals to accomplish it.
  • Ability to manage tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner.
  • Experience in team building and coaching
