Sr. Channel Partner Sales Manager | IT Sales

An exiting opportunity with a growing fintech company for someone who has prior experience of handling team and dealing directly with sales through channel partners.

Experience: 5-7 Yrs

Educational Qualification: Graduate/MBA from Tier-3, Tier-4 BSchools

Reporting: Co-founder BizAnalyst & Head- Channel Sales

Job Description:

  • Managing a team of 2-3 Partner Channel Sales Managers for Mumbai & Gujarat Region
  • Assigning & align daily & Monthly sales tasks for the team
  •  Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. 
  •  Leading a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  •  Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating partner needs on an ongoing basis. 
  •  Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources. 
  • Managing potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  •  Leading solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel. 
  •  Ensuring partner compliance with partner agreements. 
  •  Driving adoption of company programs among assigned partners. 


Role Requirements:

  • Should have worked in SME Software space eg: Anti-Virus (Kaspersky), Operating Systems (Microsoft), ERP (Tally, Busy Marg, Zoho)
  • Preferable if you have worked with a channel partner in sales & not with the company directly
  • Posses a track record of at-least 75% of QoQ -Quarter on Quarter target achievements
  • Possess and understand Channel Partner distribution
  • Possess excellent people management & sales funneling skills
  • Should have managed a team of at least 3-5 sales executives for at least 1-2 Yrs
