Responsibilities

As a VBA Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Developing and maintaining VBA-based solutions to automate business processes and enhance efficiency. 
  • Analysing and understanding business requirements to provide effective technical solutions. 
  • Integrating VBA applications with other tools and software like MS Excel, MS Access, and databases. 
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing existing VBA applications for performance enhancement. 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to meet client and business needs. 
  • Documenting project-related data and technical solutions for internal and client references. 

 

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you must possess: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in VBA development and macro programming. 
  • Strong proficiency in VBA for MS Office applications like Excel, Access, or Outlook. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and database integration with VBA applications. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with stakeholders. 
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical solutions effectively.
