Analyst – Facultative Reinsurance (Premiums )-2+ years - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities –

•            Analyse facultative risks and broker-placed policies, ensuring accurate setup with regional, market, and deduction specifications.

•            Coordinate with Sanctions, Partner Assurance, Risk, and Quality teams to secure timely approvals and dependencies.

•            Process premium entries (originals, adjustments, refunds) promptly, advising markets and ensuring contractual compliance.

•            Collaborate with placing teams to understand client programmes, issue cover evidence, debit notes, and closing instructions.

•            Lead renewal planning, manage seasonal workflows, and proactively address potential issues before they arise.

•            Review reinsurer security and compliance, produce contractual documentation, and generate data/statistical packs for placements.

•            Act as the primary contact for clients, brokers, underwriters, and overseas offices, resolving complex queries and managing claims/cash calls.

•            Uphold compliance with internal processes, industry regulations, and KPIs while fostering strong client relationships and continuous improvement. 

Requirements –

•            Candidates must be Mumbai based with strong proficiency in both internal and external business unit processes.

•            High level of competence in using internal accounting systems.

•            Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word and Excel.

•            Relevant experience within the Insurance/Reinsurance industry, including client servicing, Bureau Xchanging processes, and collaboration with global/onshore stakeholders.

•            Sound understanding of accounting fundamentals.

•            Comprehensive knowledge of facultative (FAC) business operations.
