We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of robust data strategies aligned with our business processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large datasets, optimizing data flow, and building data ingestion pipelines.

Responsibilities-
Interacting closely with Business Leaders and Product Teams to design, develop, and implement an overall organizational data strategy aligned with business processes.
Designing data models (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical), and implementing and managing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Lakehouses, and Data Analytics Systems.
Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and building complex data ingestion, integration, and ETL strategies aligned with organizational needs.
Creating and maintaining an end-to-end vision for data flow through the organization across products, systems, and user interactions.
Producing and enforcing standards for Database Development, Data Governance, Master Data, Data Quality/Integrity, and Data Standardization.
Setting up and managing data access control matrices for all relevant stakeholders across all data assets.
Collaborating with Business Leaders and Product Teams to define and implement actionable metrics, KPIs, data visualization dashboards, and reporting capabilities with a self-service “Analytics-as-a-Service” model.
Assessing and recommending improvements to enhance/performance tune existing database structures, queries, ETL processes, and data visualization processes for performance, scalability, and availability.
Working with the core IT Team in setting up backup/replay, BCP/DR processes, and database administration tasks to align with ISO compliance and external auditor requirements.
Requirements-
Overall 15+ years of experience, with at least 12+ years as a Head of Analytics or Data Architect.
10+ years of experience in building and managing Terabyte-sized datasets using database technologies like MySQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Redis, etc.
10+ years of hands-on experience writing optimized code using PL/SQL, NoSQL, Python, R, etc.
10+ years of experience building complex data ingestion pipelines using ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, Apache Airflow, SSIS, Infosphere DataStage, Talend Open Studio, etc.
10+ years of experience building business-facing data visualizations using tools like Tableau, SSRS, PowerBI, Sisense, Qlik, Looker, Chart.JS, D3.JS, etc.
5+ years of experience building OLAP models using tools like CubeJS, SSAS, OBIEE, etc.
5+ years of experience managing large (multi-terabyte) Enterprise Data Warehouses integrating diverse data sources, technologies, and products.
Experience building Data Lakehouses using Delta Lake on Apache Spark is an added advantage.
Understanding predictive modelling, NLP and text analysis, Machine Learning, and GenAI platforms is an added advantage.
