Regional Manager – Business Development- Capital Markets– Mumbai

Business Development Opportunity with India's leading research, analytics and credit rating firm that is looking for sales and business development professional from marketing background with 5+ years of B2B/B2C sales & new business development, lead generation, experience in the capital markets / asset or wealth management companies.

Should have exposure in wealth products (PEs, AIFs , MF, Mutual funds ,PMS, offshore entities..)

Your future employer - A global analytics organization primarily into providing ratings and policy advisory services.


  • Developing new business to corporates, asset management companies, PEs, AIFs  and offshore entities, across allocated geographies(New client acquisition -70%/ Existing clients- 30%)

  • Understanding of wealth products PEs, AIFs , MF, Mutual funds ,PMS, offshore entities or other wealth products.

  • Identifying relevant contact points, network and interact at senior management level with clients and prospects 

  • Understanding of corporate strategic initiatives, investment industry, AIFs with regulatory landscape

  • Basic understanding of ESG

  •  Will be responsible for feedback on product verticals and identify trends and new business opportunities in the research space

 Requirements –

  • Post-Graduate Professional with 5+ years of relevant experience of working on sales or lead generation or products side with capital markets or asset or wealth management companies

  •  Presales – Demo, respond to EOIs, RFPs, prepare proposals etc, Contract negotiation & closing,

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  •   Billing responsibilities, meetings in Salesforce, manage sales receivables with collection team

  • Communication to client on franchise elements
