Key Responsibilities -
- Supporting the execution of SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to requirements and frameworks.
- Assisting in process evaluations, risk assessments, and control testing.
- Conducting IT risk assessments and ensuring all gaps are identified and resolved with proper documentation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain SOX compliance across IT systems.
- Ensuring timely reporting and tracking of remediation activities to closure.
- Providing in-depth IT risk and control guidance and articulating identified risks to leadership clearly.
Requirements -
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) compliance or similar fields.
- Strong expertise in ITGC policies, risk and control frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience conducting SOX control testing and audits, remediating gaps, and documentation.
- Familiarity with leading GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools/software will be an added advantage.
- A certification in IT Auditing or Compliance (CISA, CRISC, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
