Analyst - Investment Specialist - Asset Management (2+ Years)
Looking for an Investment Specialist having 2+ years of experience in financial markets, preferably Fixed Income which includes Portfolio Management and Investment Specialization. The specialist will be responsible for the overall portfolio, strategy design, reporting and communications with the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fixed Income comprises of Portfolio Management and Investment Specialist teams which invests into a wide range of Investment products. An Investment Specialist (IS) is responsible for the overall portfolio, strategy design, reporting and communications with the client. IS analyst will be working closely with the IS providing support on the below set of functions.
Preparation of Strategy presentations comprising of Performance & Market value, Analytics and characteristics of the portfolio, Details on Holdings in the portfolio
Prepare of customized Client presentations for IS’s review meetings
Analysis of portfolios including positioning, analytics and performance results
Assist with the preparation of client performance reports and investment review materials for new and existing clients and providing commentaries on performance drivers
Assist in preparation of any other communication
Monitoring guidelines and adherence for internal/external managed portfolios
Co-ordinate with Sales, Consultants and RFP teams to cater their requirements
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
At least 2-3 years of experience in financial markets
Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Proactive, positive approach. Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
Good Verbal and Written Communication skills
Time management skills & ability to multi-task
Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as a team player
Understanding of Equities and/or Fixed Income and the asset management business is a plus
CFA/FRM candidature would be an added advantage
