Assistant Manager – Reporting (Python) – 1 to 5 Years – Gurgaon

Summary –
We are hiring for Assistant Manager positions in the Business Intelligence & Insights team at Axis Max Life.
This team plays a pivotal role in transforming raw data into structured, actionable insights and automating reporting processes using Python and Power BI.Python will be the core skill focus for these roles.

Responsibilities

Develop, automate, and maintain reporting dashboards using Python and Power BI.

Collaborate with business and data teams to build scalable analytics solutions.

Transform complex data into meaningful business insights and visualizations.

Work on data extraction, cleaning, and transformation using SQL and Python libraries.

Support automation of repetitive reporting processes and data pipelines.

Must-Have Skills

1–5 years of experience in Python-based data analysis, reporting, or automation.

Strong knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) and Power BI.

Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and transformation.

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduates or postgraduates from Tier-1 or premier engineering/technical institutes (IITs, NITs, IIITs preferred).

Candidates with strong Python fundamentals (theoretical + practical) can qualify through a technical assessment.

Passion for data transformation, automation, and continuous learning.
