Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - SOX ITGC - 5+ Years – Bangalore

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a Team Manager role, where you will lead end-to-end SOX IT audits, manage a high-performing team, and work closely with global stakeholders. If you bring strong SOX ITGC expertise, CISA certification, and hands-on team management experience, this role offers the right mix of technical depth, leadership exposure, and career growth.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage SOX ITGC audit engagements across planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases
2. Design and execute Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Effectiveness (TOE) for IT controls
3. Perform detailed testing of IT General Controls and IT Automated Controls, including: Logical Access, Change Management, Backup & Restoration, Incident Management
4. Review audit evidence, identify control gaps, and validate findings with business and IT stakeholders
5. Manage a team of auditors, including work allocation, quality review, performance management, and appraisal cycles
6. Ensure audits are delivered within timelines while maintaining high-quality standards
7. Support continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on evolving IT audit and SOX practices

Requirements

1. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SOX ITGC
2. Minimum 2+ years of end-to-end people management experience (direct reportees, reviews, appraisals)
3. CISA certification is mandatory
4. Strong working knowledge of ITGC and ITAC testing
5. Understanding of SOX, COSO framework, audit standards, and risk assessment practices
6. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
