Chief / Senior Medical Officer – Occupational Health Centre – Cement Manufacturing-8-15 years-Hyderabad

Join a leading cement manufacturing organization to head the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) operations. This role will provide strategic and clinical leadership, ensure NABH accreditation compliance, and proactively manage occupational health risks specific to the cement industry while driving employee wellness and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Governance

• Lead and manage all clinical services within the Occupational Health Centre (OHC).
• Ensure delivery of quality medical care aligned with NABH standards.
• Supervise pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Manage medical emergencies and coordinate referrals to tertiary care hospitals.
• Maintain, review, and audit Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and clinical documentation.

NABH Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Implement and monitor NABH protocols, quality indicators, and compliance standards.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare the OHC for NABH inspections and accreditations.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety, documentation standards, and infection control practices.
• Train and mentor medical and paramedical staff on NABH and quality improvement practices.

Occupational Health & Industry Risk Management

• Collaborate with EHS and Safety teams for workplace inspections and risk assessments.
• Monitor and manage occupational diseases and industry-specific health hazards related to cement manufacturing.
• Ensure statutory compliance with occupational health regulations.

Strategic Health Planning & Wellness

• Design and implement health promotion and employee wellness programs.
• Analyze health surveillance data to drive strategic health interventions.
• Organize vaccination drives, lifestyle disease awareness programs, and mental health initiatives.
• Liaise with external hospitals, health agencies, and statutory authorities.

Required Qualifications

• MBBS (Mandatory)
• MD / AFIH / DIH in Occupational Health (Preferred)
• Relevant experience in industrial / manufacturing setup
