Data Analyst- (3-7 years) SQL/Python- Gurgaon, Pune, Mumbai
Here is an exciting opportunity for the peers having 3+ years of experience in Python & SQL along with data analytics skills. The person would be responsible for maintaining data driven analytical methodologies.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing/Maintaining data driven analytical methodologies targeted to produce robust and consistent corporate performance metrics
• Collaborating with the analysts and/or clients to identify their needs in order to create new business opportunities
• Data analysis and the regular production of data driven custom reports and syndicated research products.
• In addition to the analysis and production responsibilities, will leverage their deep understanding of best practices in data science and the specific sector (consumer sector) to innovate and improve all aspects of the research function.
• Identifying new analytical opportunities for market research, performing analysis and developing data- driven reports
• Development of “best fit” analysis methodologies
• Development and deployment of statistical models for estimation and prediction of corporate performance
• Performing ad hoc analyses in response to client requests
• Support the sales process by developing analyses for sales pitches and press releases.
REQUIREMENTS:-
• Proficiency in SQL or Databricks
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Spark would be a plus
• Experience in working with large amounts of data and in developing actionable intelligence from the analysis
• Basic understanding of the financial markets and their implications on corporate performances
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Self-starter, motivated, flexible and self-learner Education/Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor in engineering degree in IT allied branches such as Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Information Science, etc.
• Prefer candidates from Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineering colleges (IITs, NITs BITs, NSIT, etc)
