Tester - Microsoft Dynamics CE – 7+ Years - Pennsylvania, United States  

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics CE Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions. This position involves planning, executing, and managing test activities to identify issues early in the software development lifecycle. The role requires a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE modules, integration processes, and the ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users.

Location: Harrisburg, PA (Remote - one week in office)

Responsibilities:   

1. Develop, implement, and document test plans and test cases for Dynamics 365 CE solutions based on business requirements. Define the scope and objectives of testing efforts to ensure the quality of configurations, customizations, and integrations.
2. Execute functional, regression, system, and integration testing across Dynamics 365 CE modules, such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, and Marketing. Identify, record, and track defects and ensure that all identified issues are resolved before the software release.
3. Implement automated testing strategies and scripts using test automation tools compatible with Dynamics CE, such as Selenium, EasyRepro, or other relevant testing tools. Utilize tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent for tracking testing activities and defect management.
4. Work closely with the development and business teams to clarify requirements and understand application changes and configurations. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of Agile teams, providing feedback to improve testing processes and practices.
5. Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect status reports. Provide clear and actionable insights from test results, including test coverage, defect trends, and test effectiveness.

Requirements:   

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4-5 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
3. Proven experience in manual and automated testing within Dynamics CE environments.
4. Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 CE modules and configuration/customization practices.
5. Proficiency with testing and automation tools such as EasyRepro, Selenium, or equivalent.
6. Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools for test management and defect tracking.
7. Basic knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, is a plus.

Preferred:

1. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
2. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented Agile environment.
4. Additional Requirements:
5. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in CE (preferred but not mandatory).
6. Experience with API testing, performance testing, and load testing for Dynamics applications is an advantage.
7. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus
