Summary - We are seeking a highly experienced Information Security & Network Security professional with a strong foundation in enterprise networking and a proven track record in cybersecurity leadership. This role is ideal for a senior IT professional who has evolved from hands-on network engineering into strategic information security governance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and govern the organization’s information security strategy
• Oversee network security change approvals, controls, and governance processes
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with
  ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks
• Conduct enterprise risk assessments and guide remediation and mitigation efforts
• Provide deep technical expertise in network security technologies, including:
• Firewalls, IPS/IDS
• VPNs, WAF, application gateways
• Proxy and perimeter security solutions
• Ensure secure design and operation of infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud environments
• Monitor emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive security enhancements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (SOC2, GDPR, ISO27001)
• Mentor and lead junior engineers to build a security-first mindset across teams

Key Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science

Experience

• 15+ years of total IT experience
• 3+ years of dedicated experience in information security roles
• Strong background in enterprise network engineering and security

Technical Skills

• Hands-on expertise in:
• Firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, WAF
• Routing & Switching
• VPNs, application gateways, proxy security
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms:
• Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, GCP
• Cloud security fundamentals and best practices
