Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, Tableau, and advanced analytics, including classification and regression algorithms. This role is best suited for someone with solid domain knowledge in Home Equity Banking, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.

  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

  • Develop and deploy classification and regression models for predictive analytics.

  • Build interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

  • Interpret business needs and translate them into analytic solutions.

  • Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences clearly and effectively.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data practices and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a data analytics or similar role.

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

    • Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)

    • PySpark for distributed processing

    • SQL for large datasets

    • Tableau for visualization and reporting

  • Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (classification and regression).

  • Prior experience or knowledge in Banking / Financial Services, with a strong preference for Home Equity domain expertise.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
