Responsibilities-
Collaborating with stakeholders (Domain Lead (Ops, IT, Data leads)) to understand business needs and shape the vision and roadmap for data-driven initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
Contributing to the development of the program vision and communicate product and portfolio vision to the team.
Working with data scientists, engineers, and designers to ensure products are built efficiently, meet user needs, and provide actionable insights.
Analyzing data sources, technologies, and vendors to leverage in the data product roadmap development; Create ER diagrams, data models, PRD/BRD to convey requirements.
Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security by establishing data governance frameworks, defining data quality standards, and implementing data management best practices.
Collaborating with technology and business leadership to align system/application integrations with business goals and resolve open issues/questions efficiently.
Owning and maintaining the product backlog, prioritize its contents, and accountable for clear, actionable user stories.
Requirements-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree (Regular) from Tier 1/ Tier 2 institutes only
Considerable relevant industry or functional experience in insurance.
Good understanding of data technologies, such as databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
Proven experience (4+ years) as a Data Product Owner, Data Product Manager, or similar role in data or software development or technology industry.
Familiar with programming languages such as Python/R/SQL/SAS or cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or other similar platforms.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience working in Agile environments.
Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles, SDLC, and software engineering concepts is a plus.
Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working with or in Agile teams.
Strong teamwork, coordination, organization, and planning skills.
Ability to capture complex requirements in a prioritized backlog.
