Responsibilities

• Develop advanced machine learning models and statistical solutions in areas such as marketing, operations, financial forecasting, and customer behavior analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business stakeholders, to deliver aligned and impactful solutions.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Create predictive and prescriptive models, as well as visually compelling dashboards, to present data insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and improve data model performance by ensuring accuracy and scalability.
• Research emerging machine learning and deep learning technologies to adopt innovative solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior team members while driving technical excellence within the team.
• Contribute to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Requirements

Required Skills and Expertise:

• Bachelor's/Master’s/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of proven experience in data science, delivering impactful solutions.
• Proficient in programming languages like Python, R, or Scala.
• Expertise in using machine learning libraries/tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, alongside proficiency in big data technologies like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or Seaborn.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for model deployment and monitoring.
• Strong statistical/mathematical background and ability to apply conceptual theories like regression, clustering, or optimization techniques.
• Exceptional problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in domains like Natural Language Processing (NLP) or Computer Vision.
• Familiarity with MLOps workflows and tools.
• Certifications in tools/platforms like AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional Data Engineer.
• Contributions to open-source projects or published research in relevant fields.
