Senior Data Scientist – AI/ML & GenAI – 8+ Years - Gurgaon 

Summary: We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 10+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics within consulting or technology-driven environments. The role demands deep expertise across classical ML, deep learning, NLP, and Generative AI, along with strong hands-on coding skills. The ideal candidate will drive complex data science initiatives, translate business problems into scalable AI solutions, and provide technical leadership.

Responsibilities

1. Designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models for business use cases

2. Building NLP solutions for text classification, entity extraction, summarization, and conversational AI

3. Developing and fine-tuning Generative AI and large language model–based applications

4. Architecting and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems

5. Collaborating with data engineering teams to build scalable pipelines and feature stores

6. Performing advanced feature engineering and model optimization

7. Translating business requirements into data science solutions and actionable insights

8. Presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders through clear storytelling

9. Mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to knowledge sharing initiatives

Requirements

1. 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI roles

2. Strong industry exposure to consulting, technology, or enterprise digital environments

3. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face

4. Hands-on experience with NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures

5. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and familiarity with MLOps tools

6. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles

7. Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
