Senior Data Analyst – E-commerce – 5+ Years - Remote

We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL and BI tools to deliver high-impact analytics in the e-commerce and payments domain. This role focuses on transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, building scalable dashboards, and supporting data-driven decision-making for business stakeholders.

Responsibilities –

1. Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and reporting needs.
2. Design, build, and maintain SQL-based datasets, views, and complex queries.
3. Develop and enhance dashboards and reports using Tableau (preferred) or Power BI.
4. Support BAU reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and critical projects in the payment domain.
5. Analyse trends, anomalies, and opportunities to drive process improvement, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
6. Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data models, quality, and documentation.
7. Present insights and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements –

1. 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst / BI / Analytics professional.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
3. Experience with Tableau (preferred) or Power BI for dashboarding and reporting.
4. Proven experience in the e-commerce domain; fintech/payments exposure preferred.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
