Based in Jamaica, NY, this permanent role focuses optimizing Epic Resolute revenue cycle to ensure seamless financial operations for a 24/7 healthcare environment. You will serve as the technical architect for billing modules, translating complex financial workflows into efficient system configurations. As a key liaison between IT and the billing office, you will lead system upgrades, troubleshoot critical issues, and maintain compliance with industry standards like ICD-10. Responsibilities:

• System Optimization: Configure and maintain Epic Resolute (Professional or Hospital Billing) modules, including charge routers, benefit engines, and claims processors.

• Workflow Enhancement: Conduct deep-dive analysis of data collection and billing workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement technical solutions.

• Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for end-users, providing expert troubleshooting and participating in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.

• Lifecycle Management: Lead the design, building, testing, and documentation of new system features and mandatory ICD-10 or HIPAA compliance upgrades.

• Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate between finance, billing, and IT departments to tailor the Epic environment to meet specific organizational revenue goals.

Requirements:

• Epic Certification: Highly preferred (or required within 6 months) in Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) or Professional Billing (PB) modules.

• Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years supporting healthcare information systems, specifically within a hospital billing or revenue cycle environment.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of work queue configuration, statement processing, collection agency workflows, and Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio).

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (associate’s degreeAssociate’sdegree considered with equivalent experience).

• Analytical Skillset: Strong ability to manage project plans, lead meetings, and resolve complex technical conflicts in a fast-paced setting.
