Financial Research Analyst - Investment Banking - 5+ Years - Mumbai

We are seeking a Financial Research Analyst with 5+ years of experience in financial research and investment banking, strong exposure to global markets and products like Swaps and Options, and experience in research/benchmarking analysis. MBA required (or graduate with CFA). This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact analysis supporting senior stakeholders and global investment banking decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct industry, market, and company-level research to support investment banking and corporate finance engagements.

2. Build financial models, forecasts, and valuations for M&A, IPOs, and strategic transactions.

3. Support deal origination and execution through preparation of pitch books, presentations, proposals, and transaction documents.

4. Analyze financial statements, economic indicators, and market data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.

5. Deliver data-driven insights to stakeholders within tight deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying updated on global market and regulatory developments.

Requirements:

1. Mandatory finance background MBA in Finance or Graduate with CFA (must).

2. Mandatory experience in Investment Banking, with 5+ years of exposure to global markets (Indian market experience not required).

3. Financial Research / Research experience is mandatory, covering industry, market, and investment product analysis.

4. Strong understanding of investment products and derivatives, including Swaps, Options, pricing models, bonds, and fixed-income instruments.
