Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement Guidewire applications tailored to unique organizational needs.
• Actively engage in gathering requirements, architecting solutions, coding, testing, and debugging Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Manage configurations, rule alterations, and custom integrations with third-party platforms to maintain high-quality results.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimization and smooth functioning.
• Adhere to security and coding best practices while updating documentation for all projects and process improvements.
• Contribute to sprint planning, software architecture discussions, and commit to team Agile methodology.
• Stay updated with Guidewire suite’s latest features, tools, and upgrades for continuous innovation.
• Mentor junior team members providing technical advice while fostering a growth-oriented culture.
• Work with stakeholders to resolve challenges and ensure seamless software deployment processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on expertise with Guidewire development (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Proficiency in Guidewire integration including Gosu, GX Model, Web Services, APIs, and GOSU scripting.
• Solid understanding of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and modern development tools.
• Strong background with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server and data formats such as XML/JSON.
• Proven work experience in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
• Certification: Guidewire Developer certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to the latest tools and methodologies.
