The organization operates at a global scale, supporting complex manufacturing and energy storage solutions.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities -

Lead global sourcing of raw materials and equipment to ensure quality, cost optimization, supplier capacity, and timely delivery aligned with business plans.

Drive material management excellence through sourcing analytics, MIS, benchmarking, supplier audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Build and manage a robust vendor ecosystem through supply market mapping, new vendor development, local sourcing, and strategic supplier partnerships.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Design & Development, and Sales to drive cost reduction, indigenization, inventory optimization, and working capital efficiency.

Lead and develop high-performing teams while driving Kaizen, PMO, and cross-functional initiatives to strengthen operational excellence.

Requirements -

BE / B.Tech (Engineering) is mandatory; postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain Management or Operations is preferred.

10+ years of experience in Purchase and Vendor Development, or 8+ years with a postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain / Operations.

Prior experience in Metal, Energy, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.

Strong negotiation and communication skills with good knowledge of procurement, taxation, imports, logistics, and legal aspects.

Result-oriented professional with strong decision-making, risk management, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
