We are seeking a Resident District Manager to lead food service operations for the Salem-Keizer School District, the second-largest district in Oregon. This high-impact role oversees 43,000 students across 64 locations, serving as the central point of contact for a complex account. Responsibilities:

• Strategic Growth & Operations: Lead the long-term growth strategy and oversee day-to-day food service operations for 64 locations, ensuring all sites meet rigorous quality and service standards.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary central point of contact for the district, managing complex client relationships and spearheading community engagement activities.

• Financial Oversight: Drive the development of district budgets and strategic plans to achieve specific financial targets, including sales performance and profitability goals.

• Team Leadership: Direct a large, diverse workforce (both on-site and remote), focusing on team-building, professional development, and high levels of employee engagement.

• Compliance & Excellence: Ensure 100% adherence to safety and sanitation protocols while implementing proprietary management systems to optimize reporting and operational flow.

Requirements:

• K-12 Expertise: Must have prior professional experience specifically within the K-12 education food service sector.

• Proven Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of management experience with a track record of supervising large teams and managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

• Functional Background: Minimum of 5 years of functional experience, including hands-on culinary production and a strong command of safety/sanitation compliance.

• Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required to manage the complexities of a large-scale district account.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and professional communication skills, supported by a valid driver’s license for regional travel.
