Manager- Distribution-Demand Planner- 10+Years- Mumbai

We are looking for an experienced Demand & Distribution Planning professional to lead forecasting, inventory planning, and distribution strategies. The role is critical in ensuring optimal product availability, improving forecast accuracy, and aligning supply chain operations with business goals.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities –

1. Lead demand forecasting using historical data, market trends, sales inputs, and promotions
2. Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams for consensus-driven planning
3. Design and optimize distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective product availability
4. Manage inventory planning, stock allocation, and replenishment to avoid stockouts and excess inventory
5. Track KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and fulfilment performance

Requirements –

1. Bachelor’s degree with MBA or relevant supply chain certification
2. 7–10 years of experience in demand planning, distribution planning, or supply chain roles
3. Experience in FMCG or beverage industry preferred
4. Strong analytical skills with exposure to forecasting models and planning tools
5. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
