Key Responsibilities –

• Responsible for design, development, drafting, and validation of press tools, fixtures, and jigs for aerospace components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee heat/surface treatment trials, supplier coordination, and tool maintenance, driving on-time availability and performance.
• Deliver customer-centric solutions by aligning tool designs with technical requirements, enabling defect-free manufacturing and exceeding expectations.
• Lead process innovation through low-cost automation, advanced machining/welding solutions, and integration of special treatments while ensuring AS9100/ISO/OHSAS compliance.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and maintain a design data bank to support future aerospace projects and new product development.
• Contribute to sustainable growth by mentoring talent, fostering safety and quality culture, and supporting digitization, green initiatives, and CSR-linked projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to compliance, documentation, and environmental responsibility, safeguarding confidentiality, integrity, and energy efficiency

Requirements –

• Essential: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering; Preferred: Indo‑German Tool Design/NDTF certification.
• Strong conceptualization, interpersonal, and time management skills to drive effective tool design.
• Expertise in aerospace component manufacturing processes with thorough knowledge of GD&T standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, and tool simulation software such as ANSYS, PAMSTAMP, AUTOFORM.
• Specialized surfacing knowledge in press tool design to support complex aerospace requirements.
