Requirements:
B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical)
8 to 16 Yrs. Experience in Oil and gas, refinery, petrochemicals, Chemicals
Area of Work specialization: Static Equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Columns, Filters, Shell & Tube exchangers etc.
Compress, PV Elite.
Code / Standards: ASME Sec VIII DIV 1, ASME Sec. II Parts A, B and D, TEMA, API 661, WRC
Shall perform following activities with minimum supervision within the man-hour budget and project schedule targets :
Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet (MDS)
Inquiry Requisition (RFQ)
Bid evaluation with technical queries to bidders & recommendation.
Preparation of Purchase Requisition (PR)
Vendor Data Review (VDR)
Co-ordination with other disciplines/clients/vendors
Understanding the operational procedures of an EPC firm and the collaborative workflow among various engineering disciplines throughout the phases of FEED, detailed engineering, and requisition management, encompassing the entire process from RFQ to TQ/TBA and ultimately leading to Purchase Requisition and VDR.
Ability to understand & review project design basis, project specifications, process data sheets (PDS), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), piping material specifications (PMS), and other relevant documents.
Good communication skills to deal with international clients is must.
