Senior Consultant Private Equity Fund Accounting - 5+ Years Gurgaon

We are looking for an experienced Private Equity Fund Accounting professional with 5+ years of experience, including team-handling exposure. The role offers strong hands-on experience in NAV, investor reporting, waterfall models, and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP, along with global client exposure. MBA-qualified candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead end-to-end Private Equity Fund Accounting, including preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP.

2. Oversee NAV calculations, trade processing, corporate actions, security valuation, and ensure accuracy across all fund activities.

3. Manage cash monitoring, reconciliations, accruals, expense validation, and maintain strong accounting controls and records.

4. Review management fees, performance fees, carried interest, and support MIS and board-level reporting.

5. Manage and mentor the team handling capital calls, distributions, waterfall and IRR calculations, while ensuring timely resolution of client and investor queries within SLAs.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting, with strong exposure to end-to-end fund operations.

2. Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to timelines.

3. Strong knowledge of NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, waterfall models, and fee structures.

4. Solid understanding of IFRS / US GAAP and compliance with fund documentation and reporting standards.

5. Educational background in Commerce or Finance (B. Com / BBA / BMS / BFI); professional certifications such as CFA preferred, with strong Excel and analytical skills.
