Sr. Research Analyst – Credit Analysis -Financial Institutions & BFSI-3 Years -Mumbai/Pune

We are hiring a Senior Research Analyst & Research Analyst – Credit Analysis to support global banks and financial institutions in credit risk assessment and counterparty analysis. The role involves in-depth evaluation of banks, NBFCs, insurers, and other BFSI entities, supporting international credit risk and portfolio management teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform credit risk analysis of financial institutions, banks, NBFCs, and BFSI counterparties
2. Build, update, and review financial models, credit notes, and rating assessment reports
3. Analyze balance sheets, income statements, capital adequacy, liquidity, and risk metrics
4. Assign and justify internal credit ratings using proprietary frameworks
5. Track market developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic risks impacting BFSI entities
6. Prepare industry research, portfolio monitoring reports, and ad-hoc analysis
7. Guide and review work of junior analysts when required

Key Requirements

1. 3–6 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial research
2. Strong exposure to banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, or financial institutions
3. Solid understanding of BFSI products, credit risk, spreads, and rating methodologies
4. Hands-on experience with financial modeling and credit frameworks
5. Strong analytical, written, and stakeholder communication skills
6. Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / PG in Finance or related discipline
