Senior Fullstack Developer- Java- 8+yrs- Gurgaon

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong foundation in Java backend development and mandatory hands-on exposure to Node.js, Angular, and React. This role sits within a large, mature technology ecosystem supporting critical insurance platforms used across multiple geographies. The position offers an opportunity to modernize legacy systems, strengthen application security, and contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services using Java, supporting high-availability enterprise applications
• Work on modern full-stack development using Node.js, Angular, and React alongside Java systems
• Maintain and modernize legacy applications, gradually transitioning them to newer frameworks and architectures
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications
• Use security and quality tools to support vulnerability remediation and penetration-test findings
• Perform root-cause analysis for complex production and security issues
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong unit and integration test coverage
• Provide deployment and production support, ensuring application stability and performance
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, UX, infrastructure, and external partners
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong depth in Java backend development
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Node.js, Angular, and React
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and scalable architectures
• Experience working with legacy systems and driving modernization initiatives
• Solid understanding of application security, vulnerability management, and secure coding practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
• Experience in highly regulated domains such as insurance or financial services
• Familiarity with security scanning or compliance-driven development environments
