Settlement Analyst - Trade Life Cycle, Murex - Research & Analytics firm - 3+ years - Chennai/ Gurgaon

We are hiring a Settlement Analyst to handle end-to-end trade settlement, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and reporting within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Location: Chennai/ Gurgaon

Responsibilities

1. Process and settle trades and financial transactions within defined timelines
2. Perform daily reconciliations of trades, cash movements, and account balances
3. Investigate and resolve settlement breaks and failed transactions
4. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as custodians and counterparties
5. Prepare settlement-related reports while ensuring regulatory compliance

Requirements

1. Master’s degree in finance or a related discipline
2. 3+ years of experience in settlement or financial services operations
3. Experience with settlement systems such as SWIFT, Fedwire, or DTCC (MUREX preferred)
4. Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail
5. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
