Summary – Seeking a Professional who is experienced in assessing counterparty credit risk for global financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, asset managers, broker-dealers, and funds. Skilled in evaluating creditworthiness and mitigating potential risks through detailed analysis and strategic planning. Proficient in applying regulatory frameworks and best practices to ensure robust risk management.

Responsibilities –

• Conduct fundamental credit analysis and prepare detailed credit reports and financial models for corporates, Public Sector Entities, and GREs.

• Perform comprehensive research to assess the credit strengths, weaknesses, and risk profiles of assigned entities, including potential sovereign or parent support.

• Develop detailed credit assessment reports, including company profiles, credit risk considerations, financial analysis, capital structure analysis, and financial projections (up to 7 years).

• Recommend ratings based on the internal rating framework, interact regularly with clients, and support them with ad-hoc research requests and sector research.

• Engage with client teams to enhance engagement, train new hires, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements –

1. MBA or CA or Master’s degree preferred; CFA certification is a plus.

2. 2-8 years of work experience preferable in credit risk/credit research

3. High level of attention to detail and accuracy; Diligence and hard work,

4. Experience in deal financial modelling/ surveillance/ portfolio monitoring and credit analysis.

5. Good understanding of banking regulations, calculation of key credit metrics and capital ratios
