Chief Manager – Talent Acquisition (Lateral & Campus) – 14+ Years – Mumbai

We are seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition Leader to drive lateral and campus hiring for a large, diversified organization operating in the manufacturing and engineering sector. This role requires a strategic HR professional who can manage high-volume and leadership hiring mandates, strengthen employer branding across campuses, and partner closely with business leaders to build a future-ready talent pipeline.

Location – Mumbai

Responsibilities –

  1. Lateral Hiring (Core Focus): Lead end-to-end lateral recruitment across functions, manage mid-to-senior level hiring mandates, drive bulk hiring initiatives, and optimize key metrics such as time-to-hire and quality-of-hire.
  2. Campus Hiring & Employer Branding: Own annual campus intake targets, build strategic partnerships with premier institutes, and manage end-to-end campus recruitment cycles including internships and pre-placement offers.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders and HR teams, providing hiring insights, manpower planning inputs, and regular progress updates.
  4. Candidate Experience & Process Excellence: Drive a seamless candidate journey, implement process improvements, leverage ATS and analytics, and ensure compliance and governance across recruitment processes.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team, allocate mandates effectively, monitor productivity, and ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and hiring timelines.

 Requirements –

  1. Minimum 14 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with strong expertise in lateral hiring.
  2. Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or diversified business environments preferred.
  3. Graduate with MBA in HR from a reputed institute.
  4. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning capabilities.
  5. Experience in bulk hiring, employer branding initiatives, ATS usage, and recruitment analytics.
