  1. Position Summary

As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-impact business solutions. With 5+ years of experience, you are expected to handle complex development tasks that involve intricate logic and multi-system integrations.

You will serve as a subject matter expert in Canvas Apps and Power Automate, while leveraging SharePoint Online as a critical data and collaboration layer. This role requires a developer who is comfortable working with both low-code and pro-code elements to deliver seamless enterprise integrations.

 

  1. Primary Responsibilities
  • Advanced App Development: Build sophisticated, high-performance Canvas Apps using advanced Power Fx logic, collections, and responsive design principles.
  • SharePoint Engineering: Design and maintain SharePoint Online lists, libraries, and site structures to serve as robust backends, ensuring data integrity and proper permission inheritance.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between the Power Platform and external enterprise systems using Custom Connectors, and On-premises Data Gateways.
  • Technical Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in apps and flows to ensure a smooth user experience across large datasets.
  • Automation: Build advanced Power Automate cloud flows to handle high-volume data processing, error handling, and multi-stage approvals across disparate systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with QA, BA, and other teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software systems.

 

 

  1. Additional Responsibilities
  • Code & Quality Review: Participate in peer reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to organizational development standards.
  • ALM Implementation: Support Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes by managing solutions and migrating components across Dev, Test, and Production environments.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical design documents, system diagrams, and user manuals for all developed solutions.

 

Skills and Competencies

  • Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years in IT/Software Development.
  • Hands-on experience specifically within the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint ecosystem.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience delivering large-scale enterprise integrations involving Power Platform.
  • Certifications (Preferred): PL-400 (Developer) or PL-100(App Maker).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Canvas Apps Expert: Expert knowledge of Canvas Apps (Power Fx).
  • Power Automate: Expertise in complex expressions, JSON parsing, HTTP requests to REST APIs, and child flows.
  • SharePoint Online: Deep knowledge of SharePoint modern sites, list formatting (JSON), site columns, content types, Large List management, and SharePoint REST API and permission inheritance.
  • DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub for version control and solution deployment.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Problem Solving: Ability to decompose complex business requirements into logical technical components.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
