What will you do in this role?
Work with business teams to understand business requirements for data analytics, reporting, and visualization.
Create sophisticated and intuitive business intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI dashboards) which provide insights and direction to end user.
Develop and maintain the data layer needed for business intelligence solutions.
Perform rigorous testing to assess the quality and accuracy of BI reports and identify inconsistencies with a recommended corrective action plan.
Execute on projects in a highly proactive and effective way, inclusive of documentation, status reporting to both internal as well as business teams, adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Evangelize self-service BI and visual data discovery.
Coach and mentor a team of world class BI analysts / developers.
Build an environment that supports continuous improvement and learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking. Ensure the teams’ skills and knowledge base remains relevant in the evolving field of digitization, data analytics and business intelligence.
How do you know that you are fit for this role?
MBA, or Master’s degree in Quantitative fields like mathematics, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics or related discipline.
You have at least 8 years of experience in building BI dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik) in a fast pace and high complexity industry (financial services exposure will be a plus).
Experience with BI development best practices such as agile methodologies, requirements gathering, requirements analysis, prototyping, testing, and deployment to production.
You have advanced experience of entire data and business intelligence ecosystem (PowerBI/Qlik /Tableau / SAP BO), languages (SQL / python / pyspark / Excel and VBA macros) etc.
Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts, data lakes and cloud platform technologies
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and lead multiple work assignments with high standards in a fast-paced environment
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels throughout the organization.
Highly detail-oriented and organized.
You have experience in inspiring and managing teams (2-4 team size).
