Key Responsibilities –

• Drive strategic initiatives to align business strategy with the corporate portfolio, covering offices, retail branches, call centres, and data centres.
• Oversee transaction services, contract negotiations, and deal analysis for acquisitions, leasing, re-gearing, decommissioning, and disposal of real estate assets.
• Collaborate across departments and stakeholders to design and implement real estate strategies that support organisational objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and risks, ensuring efficient space management, cost-effectiveness, and flexibility within the portfolio.
• Contribute to strategy-setting, resource planning, policy management, and continuous improvement while escalating breaches of governance.
• Lead teams by defining roles, guiding performance, planning future needs, and fostering an environment where colleagues thrive through strong leadership behaviours.
• As an individual contributor, act as a subject matter expert, guiding technical direction, coaching specialists, and influencing long-term strategic decisions.
• Advise senior leadership on cross-functional impacts, manage risks, strengthen controls, and build trusted stakeholder relationships to achieve business goals.

Requirements –

• 15+ years of experience in developing and executing corporate real estate strategies across varied property sizes, from small offices to large campuses.
• Proven track record in managing the full property lifecycle, including acquisitions, leasing, dispositions, and portfolio optimization.
• Strong expertise in negotiating and administering commercial lease agreements, coupled with financial management skills to oversee budgets, expenses, and profitability.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify opportunities or risks to inform investment strategies and space utilization.
• Skilled in coordinating with diverse internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliance with corporate processes and regulatory requirements.
• MBA-qualified with additional real estate/business credentials, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence senior leadership while guiding teams or acting as a subject matter expert.
