VP – Regulatory Authorisation, Licensing & Cross-Border Governance -15+years -Pune

Summary
This leadership role will oversee the end-to-end regulatory Authorisation, licensing, and cross-border governance framework across multiple global jurisdictions. The position is critical in ensuring a strong license-to-operate environment, adherence to global regulatory standards, and effective implementation of governance, risk, and control frameworks across legal entities.

Responsibilities

1. Lead governance of all global regulatory licenses, permissions, waivers, exceptions, and registrations.
2. Oversee the complete lifecycle of regulatory authorisations including applications, renewals, variations, cancellations, and regulatory submissions.
3. Act as senior compliance lead for cross-border governance forums including reach-in, fly-in/fly-out, and operating model working groups.
4. Drive annual policy, standards, and control framework refresh cycles including documentation review, control testing, and readiness assessments.
5. Represent the function in key governance forums, manage senior stakeholder relationships, and interface with regulators as required.

Requirements

1. Extensive experience in regulatory compliance with strong exposure to licensing, entity authorisation, and cross-border governance.
2. Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks within the financial services sector.
3. Proven experience leading large governance programs and multi-region regulatory initiatives.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory and licensing data sets.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leadership and regulators.
