Analyst / Senior Analyst - Wholesale Credit Risk Review - 3+ Years - Remote

We are seeking a skilled Analyst/Senior Analyst with 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk Review, specifically in Internal Audit or QA within the Wholesale Credit Risk domain. This is a client-facing role, offering close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver impactful risk assessments and analytical insights. Candidates from public/private sector banks or MNC banks are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent remote work opportunity, and CA or MBA (Finance) qualification is mandatory for this role.

Location – Remote (Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Gurgaon)

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Risk function in Credit Risk Review and Quality Assurance programs by applying strong credit domain and sector expertise along with a solid understanding of bank policies and procedures.
2. Develop, execute, and obtain approvals for monthly and quarterly risk review plans, ensuring adequate coverage of credit assessment processes, portfolio governance, and key risk controls.
3. Create and enhance review frameworks, templates, and test scripts across portfolios including Corporates, Leveraged Lending, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, SPVs, and Special Assets.
4. Conduct end-to-end credit quality reviews, assessing data accuracy, process completeness, policy adherence, and documentation, and provide clear observations and recommendations.
5. Deliver actionable insights through periodic risk summaries, drive corrective actions, and continuously update review methodologies in line with evolving credit policies and regulatory expectations.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of relevant experience in Credit Risk Review/Analysis, with mandatory exposure to Internal Audit or Quality Assurance within the Wholesale Credit Risk domain.
2. CA or MBA (Finance) qualification is mandatory.
3. Strong understanding of credit risk frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and internal control standards applicable to wholesale banking portfolios.
4. Proven expertise in financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and portfolio risk evaluation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, supported by advanced proficiency in MS Excel and risk evaluation tools.
