Role Summary

The role is responsible for implementing PAPL quality standards and ensuring product quality and safety across the entire value chain, including franchisee plants, vendors, raw materials, and packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement PAPL standards to ensure product quality and safety across the value chain.
• Enforce quality standards for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products across 74 franchisee plants to adhere to PAPL guidelines/specifications.
• Drive quality culture and awareness among franchisees; conduct periodic HO Quality reviews across plants and vendors.
• Lead and monitor the Corrective Action Program (CAP) arising from HO Quality audits.
• Analyze Quality Index based on market sample results and drive CAP through structured root cause analysis.
• Ensure implementation and compliance of quality systems set by Parle Agro HO.
• Maintain MIS for quality standards across plants and track consumer complaints.
• Design and regularly update the Quality Manual (including online updates).
• Provide operational support to franchisees regarding packaging material specifications and artwork approvals.
• Deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and technical capabilities.
• Track and consolidate daily QA reports from HO and all plants.
• Monitor, follow up, and resolve consumer concerns in coordination with franchisee units.
• Respond to franchisee QA managers’ queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Update and communicate approved raw material and packaging material supplier lists in coordination with HO–Purchase.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality systems and processes.
