Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager - Audit and Financial Reporting, you will:

• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with accepted accounting standards and practices.
• Handle statutory, internal, and external audits while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor financial reporting processes and internal controls.
• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to provide insights for decision-making at the managerial level.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve systems, processes, and practices for enhanced efficiency.
• Stay updated with changing regulatory and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior team members for overall skill enhancement.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Audit and Financial Reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial services practices and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in financial reporting standards including IFRS, US GAAP, or similar frameworks.
• Sound knowledge of auditing practices, internal controls, and risk assessments.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing deadlines effectively.
