Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – DC Electrical Design – 3-7 Years – Gurugram 

 
We are seeking a DC Electrical Design professional with 3–7 years of experience in solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects. The role focuses on pre-bid engineering, detailed DC design, energy simulations, and cross-functional coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects. 

Location – Gurugram

Responsibilities – 

  1. Lead pre-bid and post-bid DC electrical engineering including feasibility studies and preliminary designs. 
  1. Prepare and finalize BOQs and develop detailed plant layouts (PV array, earthing, trench, cable, equipment layouts). 
  1. Perform detailed engineering calculations including cable sizing, earthing calculations, SLD preparation, and shading analysis. 
  1. Conduct advanced PVsyst simulations including loss calculations and energy yield optimization. 
  1. Coordinate with OEMs, consultants, and project teams to ensure design compliance with IS/IEC standards and support execution during construction 

Requirements – 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 
  1. 3–7 years of experience in DC design for solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects. 
  1. Strong expertise in PVsyst and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Dialux, and MS Office. 
  1. Solid understanding of solar equipment up to 1500V systems including modules, inverters, DC cables, and earthing systems. 
  1. Knowledge of IS/IEC codes with strong analytical and cross-functional communication skills.
