We are looking for someone with 10+ years of rich experience in building massively scalable distributed data processing solutions with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse). An ideal fit would bring a sound understanding of the functionalities - Identity Management, Security, Data Governance, Devops, and Operations on the Azure Platform.

Responsibilities:
Building massively scalable distributed data processing solutions with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse (Synapse).
Building data pipelines using Data Factory.
Administering databases with regard to efficiency, data security, user security, and system integrity.
Enhancing operational and performance monitoring, and alerting using New Relic and other tools.
Providing ongoing performance improvements including optimizing query performance through TSQL improvements, indexes, partitioning, and operational resources.
Architecting new transactional and data warehouse databases.
Requirements:
Azure SQL DBA experience with Azure Data Warehouse knowledge.
Excellent understanding of Azure SQL with proven experience with performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning of relational databases. This includes the use of T-SQL, Query Store, hints, Dynamic Management Views, Azure Monitor SQL Insights, indexes, statistics, query plan analysis
Experience with DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD environments required.
Experience in migration of on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL Database (PaaS) on Cloud.
