Deputy Manager - Process Training - Life Insurance and Pension - 5+ Years - Bangalore

Location – Bangalore

We are looking for a Deputy Manager – Process Training to lead and manage end-to-end process training and upskilling initiatives for Life Insurance. The role requires strong people leadership, client interaction, and mandatory training experience, preferably within Life & Annuities domain.

Responsibilities –

  • Identify training needs and plan, manage, coordinate, deliver, and monitor process training and upskilling programs for employees
  • Ensure strict compliance with training governance plans defined by the business
  • Identify training and development needs through Product Knowledge Tests (PKT) and Quality defect analysis
  • Conduct brainstorming and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions to address performance gaps
  • Disburse product and process updates in line with training governance
  • Coordinate and conduct refresher training programs based on Training Needs Identification (TNI)
  • Conduct training appraisals and evaluations
  • Devise individual coaching and learning plans for employees
  • Create and update training materials including Facilitator Guides, Participant Guides, SOPs, Process Maps, and Detailed Process Manuals
  • Supervise training delivery during new hire and project transition periods
  • Measure training effectiveness and maintain Training MIS, including daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and reports
  • Monitor and review trainee progress through assessments, questionnaires, and discussions with managers
  • Evaluate trainers and training programs through classroom observation sessions
  • Manage and allocate training infrastructure and resources (training rooms, materials, stationery, etc.)
  • Deliver one-on-one coaching and structured feedback as required
  • Ensure training plans and documentation are in place, including SOPs and process maps
  • Ensure timely sign-off, certification, and accreditation of staff in training
  • Manage 30-60-90 day post-training performance for signed-off staff
  • Lead and manage a team of trainers and handle client interactions

Requirements –

  • Mandatory experience in Process Training
  • Life Insurance / Life & Annuities domain experience preferred
  • Experience managing a team of trainers
  • Strong client interaction and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
