Data Architect – Digital Initiatives – 10+ Years – Gurgaon

Exciting opportunity for a seasoned Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data architecture initiatives for a global insurance consulting and technology organization. This role will drive data modeling, governance, integration standards, and analytical enablement across modern data ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and own enterprise data models, canonical schemas, shared vocabularies, and warehouse/lakehouse architectures (raw → curated → semantic layers).

2. Establish ETL/ELT standards, data ingestion frameworks, orchestration logic, and reliable data pipeline architectures.

3. Implement data governance, quality frameworks, metadata management, lineage tracking, and compliance controls (PII, regulatory, audit).

4. Standardize KPI definitions, semantic layers, and BI data models for dashboards (Power BI / Tableau).

5. Review solution designs, guide BI & data engineering teams, and ensure cohesive application-to-data architecture alignment.

Requirements:

1. 10–15 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and governance.

2. Strong expertise in data warehouse/lakehouse platforms and ETL/ELT frameworks.

3. Experience in data quality, metadata management, lineage, and cataloging tools.

4. Exposure to BI ecosystem design and analytics enablement.

5. Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts to business teams.
